Abstract

Family-centered rounds (FCRs) are multidisciplinary rounds that involve medical teams partnering with patients and families in daily medical decision-making. Multiple FCR benefits have been identified including improving patient satisfaction, communication, discharge planning, medical education, and patient safety. Main barriers to FCRs are variability in attending rounding, duration of rounds, physical constrains of large teams and small rooms, specific and sensitive patient conditions, and lack of training of residents, students, and faculty on how to conduct effective and effecient FCRs. In the last decade, many programs have incorporated FCRs into daily practice due to their multiple perceived benefits. Future FCRs should focus on better operationalizing of FCRs and reporting on objective outcomes measures such as improved communication, coordination, and patient satisfaction that are crucial for healthcare.

Kundenzufriedenheit und -loyalität sind zentrale Determinanten des nachhaltigen Unternehmenserfolgs - ganz besonders in der wettbewerbsintensiven Gemeinschaftsverpflegungsgastronomie. Da bislang kaum Erkenntnisse darüber vorliegen, wodurch Zufriedenheit und Loyalität in dieser Branche entstehen und wodurch die Auswirkungen der Wettbewerbsintensität abgeschwächt werden können, widmet sich diese Arbeit der Beantwortung dieser Fragen. Die empirische Überprüfung eines umfassenden theoretischen Forschungsmodells erfolgt unter anderem anhand eines PLS-Strukturgleichungsmodells. Die Ergebnisse zeigen erstmals die zentralen Zufriedenheits- und Loyalitätstreiber im Rahmen der Gemeinschaftsverpflegungsgastronomie auf, wodurch eine Optimierung des nachhaltigen Unternehmenserfolgs ermöglicht wird.

Este libro es una adaptación de una investigación presentada a la Universidad Nacional Emilio Valdizán que tuvo como objetivo analizar el clima organizacional y a la satisfacción laboral de los trabajadores de la Facultad de Ingeniería de Minas Civil Ambiental de la Universidad Nacional de Huancavelica en Perú, con la finalidad de proponer en adelante alternativas de mejora, que sirvan de guía a los directivos de la FIMCA, para fomentar un ambiente laboral agradable y motivador para sus trabajadores, y de esta manera incrementar su desempeño laboral. El estudio se trabajó con una población de 40 trabajadores entre 32 y 67 años de edad. Los datos fueron procesados por el Software SPSS versión 22 en español. Asimismo, en el puntaje general que dieron como resultado el clima organizacional y la satisfacción laboral; las cuales con un p-valor de sig. (bilateral) de 0.010 y 0.010 respectivamente, y siendo menores a 0.05, conllevó a rechazar la hipótesis nula y aceptar la hipótesis de estudio, concluyendo que existe correlación entre las variables clima organizacional y satisfacción laboral en los trabajadores de la FIMCA.
